New Releases, week of 02/07/2012: “I <3 John Cho" edition

0

I love John Cho, almost as much as I love Miles Fisher. He makes the perfect straight man to Kal Penn’s ludicrous troublemaker in all three Harold & Kumar films, and that is probably what has endeared him to me so much. Also he’s totally fine, nawmean? Anyways, man-love aside, you can pick up A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas today and enjoy John Cho right along with me!

Elsewhere on sale, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part I continues the proud tradition of vampire c-sections, over/under-acting, and angsty Native-Americans that the series is know for (out on Friday the 11th), Anonymous gets all Shakespeare on your ass, and Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred begs the question “Yeahbuhwha!?” in the tried and true dada way.

As far as re-releases go, the big ones are Lady and the Tramp having been taking out of the Disney vault and La Jetee/Sans Soleil getting a Criterion release. The Elephant in the Living Room is also being released, marking Flixist’s very first cover quote, which you can see in the gallery below.

As always, the full list of releases is below. Lemme know what you’re picking up this week and if there’s anything I didn’t mention that is worth checking out!
