By American Reunion is right around the corner and as such, they’re re-releasing the first three films chronicling Jim and his friends’ misadventures in love and sex on Blu-ray! That means Shannon Elizabeth’s sweet, sweet boobies in super high definition! And let’s not forget the classic scene where Jason Biggs had sex with a pie! In high definition!
As far as the big releases go this week, we’ve got the delightfully charming The Adventures of Tintin,Best Adapted Screenplay winner The Descendants, dancing penguin movie Happy Feet Two, sexy Emma Watson/Michele Williams period piece My Week With Marilyn, the super-depressing world-ender Melancholia, the latest bland-looking The Three Musketeers adaptation, and the fantastic dark comedy character study Young Adult.
In addition to the original American Pie trilogy on Blu-ray, The Last Temptation of Christ has a Criterion release, and of course that means Willem Dafoe’s penis in HD too. It’s a good week for Blu-ray.
