By If you’re like me, you have a certain affectation for Riggs and Murtaugh’s comedy stylings over the course of the four Lethal Weapon films, and if you’re like me, you’ll be rushing out to pick up the Lethal Weapon: The Complete Collection on Blu-ray this week.
If you’re in the mood for some newer releases, there’s a nice little haul. Red Tails, The Secret World of Arrietty, This Means War, and The Woman in Black are all out. I’ve seen the latter two and can vouch for both, but check out the reviews for all of them before you pick them up, as mileage will vary. There’s also a movie named Metal Tornado out, and it has the most intriguing IMDb description ever: “Metal objects are consumed by magnetic tornadoes wreaking havoc everywhere. No one seems able to stop them.” Lou Diamond Phillips is in it. Shut up and take my money.
On the re-release side, aside from Lethal Weapon, Ghibli films Caslte in the Sky and Whisper of the Heart, are out on Blu-ray and Certified Copy has a Criterion release.
