By Of all things that are coming out on Blu-ray today, there’s the bats**t crazy cult film Street Trash. There are melting bodies, exploding homeless people, scenes of extreme violence, lots of gore, and something to offend everyone. And it’s funny too (except when it’s not)! Street Trash is absolute garbage — glorious, glorious cult movie garbage.
On the new release side, there’s Spring Breakers, Dead Man Down, Admission, and The Host (not the Korean movie). On the re-release side, Criterion is putting out The Life of Oharu, Universal has a bunch of high-profile DVD and Blu-ray reissues (Spartacus, The Big Lebowski, Charade, Knocked Up, The Birds, Cape Fear, etc.), and Wild Eye is doing a trio of VHS releases because why not.
