By The Skyfall marketing has campaign has started gathering steam with the release of an on-set video where Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem describe their characters (watch it beneath the jump), plus a batch of new images showing Daniel Craig in a number of dramatic poses – the one with the Aston Martin is wonderfully reminiscent of a classic Connery shot from Goldfinger – and Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe in action.
Rumours also abound of the first trailer being attached to prints of Men In Black III on May 25th, probably the best reason you’ll ever come up with for paying to see that movie. All of this is reportedly ahead of a big blowout of info to come on Monday. In the meantime, check out the gallery below if you need any more excuse to get excited for Bond’s 50th anniversary return. In particular, check out cinematographer Roger Deakins’ fingerprints all over the blue-lit shot of Bond observing Sévérine (Marlohe) from the building opposite, and the hilarious sight of M bearing a similarly grouchy expression to the plastic bulldog on her desk.
