By Song of the Sea Teaser
Song of the Sea is the latest film from the Irish animation collective that brought the world the 2009 Academy Award nominated animated film The Secret of Kells, and maaaan it looks just as gorgeous. Song of the Sea follows a young boy and his little sister, and as it turns out his sister is the last of the selkies, a mysterious creature that can morph from human to seal.
If literally nothing else Song of the Sea is guaranteed to be a visual delight, but I’m sure the interwoven traditional Irish folklore will add a unique heartbeat to the film that you won’t find anywhere else.
Song of the Sea will release sometime in 2014, though no official release date (Irish or American) has been set yet.
