By I was completely unaware of The Void until last night. Now it’s one of my most anticipated movies of the next few weeks. (I mean, come on, it looks great, but I don’t want to oversell it, right?)
Written and directed by Jeremy Gillespie and Steven Kostanski, The Void looks like a mix of John Carpenter’s The Thing and Prince of Darkness, the cosmic horror tales of H.P. Lovecraft, and just a hint of Hellraiser II: Hellbound.

The Void will tentacle its way into UK cinemas on March 31st. US theaters will get The Void on April 7th.
