NYC: Check out the trailer for the Old School Kung Fu Fest at Metrograph (April 8-10)

The 6th Old School Kung Fu Fest is coming to New York at the ginchy new Metrograph cinema. The Old School Kung Fu Fest is put on by Subway Cinema, who are also responsible for The New York Asian Film Festival (NAYFF), one of Flixist’s favorite film festivals.

6th Old School Kung Fu Fest | April 8-10, Metrograph

Yup, all of the films are from Golden Harvest, the legendary Hong Kong production company co-founded by Raymond Chow and Leonard Ho. Both Chow and Ho worked for Shaw Brothers (the seminal old school martial arts movie studio) before striking out on their own.

The following films will be screened:

  • Big Bullet
  • The Blade
  • Enter the Dragon
  • The Man from Hong Kong
  • Pedicab Driver
  • The Prodigal Son
  • Rumble in the Bronx
  • A Terra-Cotta Warrior
