NYC Reminder: See Padak for free at the Tribeca Cinemas

0

Heya New York City. Normally, this would be the time where I post my review of the Korean film Padak along with a reminder about the screening tonight at the Tribeca Cinemas and let it speak for itself. Unfortunately, due to unforseen medical circumstances, my review won’t be ready until later in the week.

But I couldn’t let the screening go by without telling everybody who can that they absolutely must see Padak. Be aware, though, that it is not, as the Korean Cultural Service describes, “a feel-good adventure for the whole family.” I can only assume that whoever wrote that was either making some kind of sick joke or is an incredibly disturbed individual. Padak is not a family film. Padak is kind of like a demented combination of Finding Nemo and Pink Floyd’s The Wall, except with more dead fish.

Check back later in the week for more words on the subject, but for now just know that you really must see Padak. And you can, for free, tonight, at the Tribeca Cinemas at 7:00 PM. Go do that.

Seriously.
