NYC: Spend an afternoon with Jessica Chastain – 2/8

0

Jessica Chastain is both extremely prolific and highly acclaimed, appearing in films such as Zero Dark Thirty, The Tree of Life, Take Shelter, Lawless, The Help, Mama, and Coriolanus. She recently won a Best Actress Golden Globe for Zero Dark Thirty and is also up for a Best Actress Oscar this year for the same role; the year before, she received Supporting Actress nominations for her work in The Help. Perhaps the most incredible thing is that Chastain’s meteoric rise as one of America’s finest actresses has taken place in just the last two years.

Those with a free afternoon on Friday, February 8th can see Chastain in person at 3:00pm at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center Amphitheater. Chastain will engage in an hour-long discussion on her acting career. As of this writing, the moderator for the conversation has yet to be announced.

The conversation with Jessica Chastain is free to the public, though it is a ticketed event. Tickets will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center box office one hour before the event. More information on Chastain’s appearance can be found here or by going to FilmLinc.com.
