NYC: The full 2017 Brooklyn Horror Film Festival lineup has been announced and looks awesome

The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival (BHFF) is back for a second year, and it’s going to be a much bigger celebration of horror cinema from around the world. The 2017 Brooklyn Horror Film Festival will run from Thursday, October 12th through Sunday, October 15th. More than 45 new feature films and shorts will be screened that weekend, many of which are making world or regional premieres. The notable programming includes:

This year’s BHFF will also include a Friday the 13th mini-marathon, an art show and VR showcase, a special screening of 1971’s sexy The Shiver of the Vampires to coincide with the release of the book Lost Girls: The Phantasmagorical Cinema of Jean Rollin, and much more.

Screenings and events will take place in North Brooklyn, Downtown Brooklyn, and Crown Heights. Participating venues include the Alamo Drafthouse, Nitehawk Cinema, Videology, Spectacle Theater, Film Noir Cinema, Kumble Theater, and the Wythe Hotel.
