Nymphomaniac gets one hell of a poster

Lars Von Triers upcoming Nymphomaniac will most likely set off a lot of talk much like all his controversial films do. Some people are going to love it and others hate it, but when we all look back some time in the future in a Von Trier retrospective I think we’ll all agree that this poster is blatantly fantastic.

Minimalistic and yet entirely expressive of what a movie that involves Charlotte Gainsbourg recounting all her sexual exploits after being found beaten in an alley, the poster’s two parenthesis look like nothing for a split second before you read the tag line (Forget About Love) and the name of the film. Then it all makes sense. We’ll hopefully get to see the film (both hardcore and softcore verstions) later this year.
