By The Comic Con poster for Pacific Rim has landed, giving us a pretty stark look at what one could assume is the main giant robot, the outdated one the leads (Charlie Hunnam and Idris Elba) has to commandeer against the monster hordes. Also, this gives a great idea as to the scale of these giant robots. Assuming this poster is even SLIGHTLY to scale for the actual film, those two guys on the robot’s shoulder are teeny tiny by comparison, so there’s a good chance there’s going to be some insanely large fights going on here.
I’m still going to always be a little bitter towards Pacific Rim because we’re getting it instead of At the Mountains of Madness, but things are definitely looking cool from the limited amount we’ve seen of the film. Hopefully a trailer will appear around Comic Con, and we’ll get to see this big mech in action!
