Part of sales of Fast & Furious 6 going to charity

Since the death of Paul Walker things have been very up in the air with Fast & Furious 7, but Universal is stepping up and creating some good out of it. A percentage of the sales from Fast & Furious 6‘s Blu-ray/DVD release will go towards Walker’s charity,  Reach Out WorldWide. No word on what that percentage will be, but it’s a wonderful gesture.

Reach Out WorldWide was founded in 2010 by Walker is a network of professionals with first responder skill-sets who augment local expertise when natural disasters strike in order to accelerate relief efforts. Walker founded when he saw the deficiencies in the response to the Haiti earthquake. It also has a kick ass logo in case you weren’t excited about the good it does.

You were probably planning on buying Fast & Furious 6, which lands on December 10, because it was awesome, but now you’ll also be doing a good deed.
