Paul Bettany will play the Vision in Avengers 2

I think we all assumed that with Ultron being the big bad in Avengers: Age of Ultron that the Vision was going to show up. After all Vision is an android created by Ultron for evil, but turns good and he’s awesome so there’s plenty of reason for him to make an appearance. We now know what the appearance will look like: Paul Bettany (Priest).

Bettany has actually already been in the Marvel universe as Tony Starks’s talking computer J.A.R.V.I.S. It’ll be interesting to see if they actually tie that together. Maybe Vision is somehow actually connected to J.A.R.V.I.S. or maybe he’s an updated version. We did see the Stark computer kick some butt in Iron Man 3 thanks to his control of the the iron man outfits so it’s not a stretch he could become his own hero. Maybe the upcoming Ant-Man will feature some Vision since Ultron plays heavily into that character.

The real question is if they’ll stick with the Vision’s traditional color scheme of green and yellow with a red face or if we’re going to get a completely re-imagined, updated look.
