The wait for a home copy of Pokemon Detective Pikachu is almost over. According to the film’s official Twitter account, Pokemon’s first live-action outing will be hitting digital stores on July 23, 2019, and Blu-Ray/DVD on August 6, 2019. There are various different versions to go over but know that the digital version will set you back $19.99 and be available through Fandango Now, Google, iTunes, Microsoft, Movies Anywhere, and Vudu.

As for the Blu-Ray/DVD, a myriad of options are available. The DVD will run you $19.99 while the standard Blu-Ray is going for $29.99. A Best Buy special edition will include the Blu-Ray and steelbook case for $34.99. All physical copies will contain deleted scenes, audio commentary by Mr. Mime, the “My Pokemon” adventure featurette, five different “Creating the World of Detective Pikachu” shorts, Rita Ora and Kygo’s music video for the film’s theme song, Ryan Reynolds’ short “Outside the Actors Studio,” and something called “Detective Mode.” It sounds like a decent chunk of extras, to say the least.
