Quentin Tarantino wants to make Kill Bill a trilogy

“In the cards” is a common idiom in the English lexicon. When used, the implication is that a suggested action is highly likely, though not fully guaranteed. For example, it’s a good sign if a you ask your boss about a promotion and their response is “it’s in the cards.” Alternatively, if you ask your boss if the company is going under and they give the same response, then you might want to start writing some cover letters.

Fortunately, this particular instance is of positive note. Quentin Tarantino used the aforementioned idiom when asked about the potential for a third installment of the Kill Bill franchise. The acclaimed director appeared on Andy Cohen Live and mentioned he had dinner with the Uma Thurman and the conversation flowed with thoughts about continuing The Bride’s story.

Once she got past the hard part of relearning how to wiggle her big toe, her trek to track down her former colleagues proved fruitful as she reunited with the daughter she once lost. It seemed as if life was to be lived happily ever after, but Tarantino has some thoughts on how to expand her story. It’s hard to imagine how exciting her story can get after killing nearly everyone she crossed paths with, but Tarantino has an intrepid imagination.

Unfortunately, as exciting as this news is for fans, it’s not coming anytime soon. Tarantino has some other things in the work, including a possible TV show. Until he gives more details, fans will have to exercise the patience of a post-coma assassin with atrophied muscles.
