By We already reported that Jeremy Renner is taking up protagonist duty in the upcoming The Bourne Legacy awhile back. Now, news has surfaced that super cutie Rachel Weisz is in discussion to join Renner in the next installment of the action-packed espionage franchise. Deadline is reporting, however, that the British bombshell is in a bit of a pickle, having been in negotiations to join Sam Raimi’s adaptation of The Wizard of Oz.
I’d love to see her in The Bourne Legacy, if only to give me more incentive to watch it. Granted, I’m gonna see it anyways, but it’d be nice to pit her against Renner. Although, it would be cool to see her tag teaming with James Franco and Mila Kunis in Oz… then again, that’s too many pretty people in one movie. Decisions, decisions.
