By And here we are with a potentially NSFW trailer for the remake/reboot/prequel/dumb The Thing. You know, I was cautiously excited for this flick. As a big fan of John Carpenter’s work, more The Thing can only be good, right? Boy was I wrong. While the original flick was a quietly intense movie about identity, this prequel looks to be overly reliant on CGI and explosions. Not exactly what The Thing is all about. Whatever, I’ll still probably see it. Because I’m stupid.
