Red Skull costume reveals the villain’s new look

Just days ago, an image of the mythical Cosmic Cube from the set of
Captain America: The First Avenger
circulated the web, featuring a glimpse of Hugo Weaving as Red Skull, but only from the neck down. He wasn’t looking very skeletal, in other words, just his regular Smithian/Elrondian self. However, a curious image has surfaced that seems to hint at Red Skull’s latest cinematic rendering.

ComicBookMovie.com was the firstto spot Big Bad Toy Store‘s recently posted image of a a Red Skull costume affiliated with the 2011 film, revealing the post-production look of the Marvel supervillain–and yes, these costumes are for adults, sizes L, XL. Those certainly look like Weaving’s powerfully clenched teeth. The costume is a tease if anything, since nothing can beat a high-res studio still for stirring up excitement. Still, I am happy to merely bring you news of the existence of these man-child outfits, which I hope to see some you wearing come Halloween.
