By Are you a fan of Tom Cruise’s seminal Top Gun? Did you enjoy the 3D in any of the following summer blockbusters: Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Green Lantern, The Smurfs (amongst others)? If you said yes to the both of these questions, then you’re in for a Tom Cruise-sized treat.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that 3D conversion studio, Legend3D, is interested in converting the 1986 film, having already done a treatment for the memorable Danger Zone aerial flight sequence. However, while they have a revenue sharing deal with Paramount, they don’t want to move forward with the re-release without director Tony Scott’s approval.
