By Can’t get enough of squirming uncomfortably in your seat pondering whether something was funny or just horribly awkward? Then get excited for the return of David Brent, Ricky Gervais’ character from the British The Office, as a new movie based on him has been announced.
Gervais will reprise the role as Brent, who is now working as a traveling salesman, funds his own musical tour around the UK. It will be shot in the same mockumentary style as the TV show and be called Life on the Road. While it’s all being shot in the UK we’ll definitely be seeing a US release, which is nice.
