If the subtitle for the story isn’t the tagline for this film, which is only a rumor and evidently only a screenplay at this time, then I’m out. See Sylvester Stallone is reportedly pitching a fifth Rambo movie, though there’s no official word on it, and this movie is about him killing Mexican drug cartels.
From the source: “With Rambo V Sylvester Stallone returns in his iconic role. This time he goes up against a Mexican cartel. Stallone, who has also written the screenplay, describes the new Rambo as his version of No Country for Old Men.”
I’m… I’m not really sure Stallone has a version of No Country for Old Men in him, but if he’s simply trying to say that drug cartels are involved and people are going to get killed in odd ways then maybe he does. Otherwise the Coens and Rambo couldn’t be further apart unless we’re actually going to see a return to the more serious and depressing First Blood.[via CBR]
