Sarah Palin film hitting VOD & PPV after making $101,000

What do Undefeated and Troll Hunter have in common? They’re both movies you’ve probably never heard of since they’ve each earned less than $200,000 in theaters so far. They’re also both about trolls that no one should fear. Does this make The Undefeated the new Delgo? It’s to be expected that a low budget foreign film from Norway isn’t going to net much money ($183,000), but after being in theaters for only one full week, Sarah Palin’s movie is already calling it quits after hitting just $101,000 in 10 days:

“ARC Entertainment announced today that it will make the Sarah Palin biopic film The Undefeated available on video-on-demand and pay-per-view to approximately 75 million homes through major cable and satellite companies such as DIRECTV, DISH Network, and Time Warner Cable starting September 1st.”

It’s a good thing she has her own PAC, because at this rate her film earnings wouldn’t even cover the cost of her propaganda RV. $101,000 divided by $20 (more than the average ticket price in America) shows that only about 5,000 people saw the Palin movie. To put this in comparison, the Sarah Palin porn film has been watched more than 5,000,000 times on just one site alone. Ouch. The Sarah Palin biopic will be out on DVD on October 4th, with a special edition version available at Wal-Mart.
