Scary Movie guys to parody Hunger Games, nobody shocked

I love it when a horrible franchise puts very little effort into their movies, makes a ton of money, and continues on forever. Jason Friedburg and Aaron Seltzer, the directors of such timeless films as Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Date Movie, Disaster Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Vampires Suck, are now putting their efforts into The Starving Games, a movie that is sure to be a brilliant, subtle commentary on an underground movie that few people have heard of. It will also be targeting Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter, and the hugely unpopular superhero film, The Avengers.

Since this year’s The Biggest Movie of All Time 3D will focus on 2009’s Avatar, and 2010’s Black Swan will be lampooned in next year’s Scary Movie 5, we can assume that this flawless masterpiece will be hitting theaters in 2015, probably around the time that The Hunger Games series is wrapping up. At least it will still be somewhat culturally relevant at that point.
