By When the first teaser for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiered during the MTV Movie Awards, I was pleased with what I had seen. A notable bump in narrative quality, camerawork, and just all around coolness. Does the second trailer do the same? Yes, yes it does.
Catching Fire takes place during the 75th Hunger Games in which the folks participating are past champions (which means they’re not kids anymore). This trailer shows them off, as well as the new arena and training, in full force (but unfortunately spoils Katniss’s new dress). Expect Catching Fire to bring the heat. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire sets fires to theaters November 22nd.
