Seth Rogen to direct himself in Jay and Seth

0

About three years ago you may have seen a trailer for a short film called Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse. You may have also heard that Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel, the eponymous Jay and Seth, were looking to turn it into a movie. Then you may have heard crickets because there was absolutely no more news on it. However, Movies.com has discovered that the project is now moving forward with screenwriters Rogen and Evan Goldberg also co-directing.

As you can kind of see from the trailer the movie is about two guys who survive the apocalypse and then have to survive each other. With Rogen actually taking on more and more interesting roles and ducking away from the Judd Apatow gang I’m actually intrigued as to where this can go. Rogen notes that the film is “oddly personal” to him now and that there will be more people in it than just Jay and Seth. Sounds like a good plan.
