Shadow of the Colossus movie is still a thing, has new director

0

I’m pretty sure once the Shadow of the Colossus movie is made we’ll be repeating that subheader (which is a quote from the game) back at the filmmakers because despite being awesome I fear they will ruin it. Wait, you forgot this was even happening? Well, we haven’t had news on it in forever, but now there is some.

With Josh Trank now busy with both Fantastic Four and possibly Star Wars a new director has to take over and it appears to be Andy Muschietti, whose most recent work was the fairly descent Mama. Vote of confidence for him as Sony is pushing this as a tentpole film. As a director he’s pretty skilled and it will be interesting to see if he can capture the same feelings that the game so perfectly expressed in film. That isolation is going to be a tough one.

Xzyliac should be happy.
