Skullerific poster for found footage horror film V/H/S

0

Now this is a mighty fine bit of poster art for the forthcoming found footage horror anthology V/H/S. Simple yet effective, and it passes the video store test: if this poster was VHS box art, would you rent it? Obviously it would have to come in one of those oversized boxes (possibly an oversized plastic clamshell) and be on a shelf close to that mysterious back room with the saloon doors.

Don’t let the phrase “found footage” put you off, though. If you remember Allistair’s Sundance review of V/H/S, he mentioned how great the movie is, playing with genre conventions and adding surprises along the way. Rather than holding back until the end like many other found footage films, V/H/S is more like Tales from the Crypt and Creepshow.

Check out the gallery for the full poster. V/H/S will be out in limited release on October 5th.
