Spoiler: M. Night Shyamalan’s Split & Unbreakable get one sequel, Glass, in 2019

Split, the first commercially and critically viable film from once superstar director M. Night Shyamalan in some years, was a pleasant surprise to say the least. To say more, it was capped off with a trademark M. Night twist ending, queued up by music that some audience members probably found familiar–and if the music didn’t give away what was coming, Bruce Willis’s cueball visage probably did. That’s right, the world of Split and Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) is the same world of ol’ Bruce Willy and Unbreakable! Oh right, again, SPOILERS.

Bloody Disgusting reveals that both films will get a sequel in one vessel, coming January 18, 2019, featuring McAvoy, Willis, Samuel L. Jackson (as the title Glass suggests) and Anya Taylor-Joy from the originals.

But all this talk of M. Night Shyamalan and his sequels has got me wondering … does he just listen to this on repeat while drafting his screenplays? Is this how Stella (he) got his groove back:

Chubby Checker-The Twist
