Surviving Sundance 2012: It Begins!

0

Today I plunge into the cold depths of Park City, Utah to see a whole lot of indie films at Sundance Film Festival 2012. For the first time in Flixist history — which, let’s be honest, isn’t very long — we will be providing a wealth of coverage of what CheapFlights called the world’s number one film festival. And, we all know that CheapFlights is the only film site that matters!

As part of our coverage, you can look forward to exclusive interviews, news, video shenanigans, and so many reviews that my fingers will be numb by this time next week.

More details after the jump!

First off, if you haven’t checked out our pre-Sundance lists (Top 10 Sundance Films Ever Premiered at Sundance and Top 10 Most Anticipated Films of Sundance 2012) — well, GO CHECK THEM OUT!

From Jan 19 – 26, I’ll be posting daily recaps in both text and video form so you can stay up-to-date with all the stuff that matters. If you want to dig a bit deeper, you can hit our main page for reviews, interviews, features, and news coming out of Sundance 2012.

Right now, I have a tight schedule packed with 28 films — every one of which I couldn’t be more excited to check out. By the end of the month, I’ll be able to start putting together a best of 2012 list — how many other sites can claim that?

While we won’t blame you if you wander off to TMZ for some footage of celebrities throwing-up at a Sundance party, be sure to keep Flixist bookmarked for all the Sundance info that actually matters. Hell, maybe I’ll even do a river dance performance for you with Paul Giamatti (no promises!)
