Susan Boyle’s getting a biopic

Is Susan Boyle Benedict Cumberbatch’s mom?* If so, I’m sure he’s very proud because she’s getting a movie made about her life.

Fox Searchlight has purchased her life rights (that will always be a weird grouping of words to read/hear/think about) as well as the rights to the musical I Dreamed a Dream, the ‘jukebox musical’ based on Boyle’s life. It will be ‘a sensitive and honest biopic.’ That’s good, because there’s nothing worse than insensitive biopics full of flagrant lies!

There’s literally nobody attached, but I promise to bring you all the sarcastic Untitled Susan Boyle Biopic That Will Likely Be Called ‘I Dreamed a Dream’** news as it develops.
