The first teaser for Jonathan Glazer’s Under The Skin (starring Scarlett Johansson) is pretty darn weird. Clocking in at under a minute, the teaser shows so much yet so little. All there really is to know is that Scarlett Johansson is a “sexy alien” who’s on Earth for the explicit purpose of using her sexuality to trap her prey.
While the film may seem like a reboot of the Species franchise, the teaser makes it seem more like a film with a intellectual undertone rather than an exploitative one. There’s no release date set for the film as of yet, but it’s currently making rounds in the festival circuit.
