Teaser Trailer: I’m So Excited (Los amantes pasajeros)

Pedro Almodovar’s The Skin I Live In was a lurid, disturbing, bendy, and audacious film, and one of the most underrated movies of 2011. For his follow-up, Almodovar has decided to go light after so much darkness. The evidence is the above teaser trailer for I’m So Excited (Los amantes pasajeros).

Though plot details are under wraps, The Playlist says I’m So Excited is an ensemble comedy involving an airplane accident that prompts passengers to disclose their inner secrets. Maybe Goke, Body Snatcher from Hell by way of Douglas Sirk?

No word on release dates yet, but it’s been suggested that I’m So Excited will premiere at Cannes. Stay tuned for more information on I’m So Excited as well as Almodovar’s Body Snatchers-inspired science fiction film, which may wind up percolating for a few years before it gets made.
