By I’ll admit that I’m a sucker for “old men doing young things” movies desspite how bad most of them are. I sat through The Bucket List, Space Cowboys (but it was kind of good), Stand Up Guys, and I’m most likely going to see Last Vegas also. It features Michael Douglas after he proposes to his younger girlfriend who then invites his friends (Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, and Kevin Kline) to Las Vegas for his Bachelor party. The four decide to “party like it’s 1959” and then old man shenanigans.
I really want to like what I see, but it’s not quite there yet. This is an okay tease, but I’ll need a few more jokes before I really make a judgment. There are good names behind this project, but that’s not even an indicator of quality anymore since I’ve been burned one too many times.
