By I’m much more interested in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows than I thought I’d be. After the first film’s poor reception, everyone on board went back to the drawing board and added some stuff fans might like. We’ve got Bebop and Rocksteady, Fred Armisen as Krang, a new Shredder, Tyler Perry’s Baxter Stockman, a technodrome, and an air of fun the first film only flirted with.
It’s basically a cartoon now and that’s pretty awesome. Some of the new plot details are a bit worrying (you’ll notice what I’m talking about when you hear it) and I hope they can develop all these characters well enough (for a Summer blockbuster anyway). But either way, I’m very interested in how this will turn out.
