The 31st annual Razzie nominees are…

0

The 31st annual Razzie nominations have been released, and much like The Social Network and Black Swan dominating the opposite end of the spectrum, films like The Twilight Saga: Eclipseand Avatar The Last Airbenderhave been listed numerous times for their awfulness.

Awards shows can often be dry, and especially after everyone got butthurt over Ricky Gervais’s jabs at the industry, the Razzies are more important than ever.

Fun aside: I used to be on the fence about Sandra Bullock, but then she went to the Razzies and accepted the Worst Actress award for her work in All About Steve. Her credibility went up with me considerably. Check out her awesome acceptance speech after the jump.

Hit the jump for the nominees.

Vampires Suck

Now, I am no Twilight fan, but having read all the books and seen all the movies (for street cred with the ladies, of course), Eclipse was the best one. Seeing vampires literally shatter other vampires was pretty cool. Do they deserve some of the awards? Oh yes (looking at you, K-Stew). Worst ensemble? No. There's actually a couple decent performances there.

We'll find out who will take home the Golden Razzie on February 26th, but in the meantime, what are your thoughts? Who will 'win' Worst Picture? Who's taking home a wheelbarrow full of awards? Who will show up to accept theirs? Let me know in the comments!
