The ActionFest 2012 poster just broke your nose, sucka

If I can save up the money, I’m considering a trip down to Asheville, North Carolina in mid-April for ActionFest 2012. It looks like it will be a weekend worth of ass-kickery and good times (and lots of delicious vinegar-based barbecue). The festival recently released a poster for this year’s festivities drawn by Kagan McLeod, who you may know for his badass graphic novel Infinite Kung Fu.

The full line-up for this year’s ActionFest has yet to be announced, though they have named the opening and closing films for this year’s festival: Michael Bassett’s Solomon Kane and Wu Xia starring Donnie Yen and Jimmy Wang Yu, respectively. Special honors at this year’s festival will go to choreographer J.J. Perry, stuntman Mickey Gilbert, and Haywire star Gina Carano.

Check out Kagan McLeod’s poster in our gallery. After the cut, I’ve included the trailers for both Solomon Kane and Wu Xia.
