By Cartoonist and illustrator Noelle Stevenson has created these awesome Lord of the Rings inspired comics where she re-imagines the movies in modern-day, hipster-ish, bro-ish terms. And I want all of them. They’re cute and clever and perfect and I just love them.
Stevenson says that she “kind of really wanted to interpret Lord of the Rings as a modern-day buddy road trip story,” and that they’re just “a lot of dudes from different backgrounds and walks of life hanging out together.” Which is, of course, part of what made the original movies and books so great.
