The Crow reboot lives (for now)

The last time we heard anything about the stalled reboot of The Crow was back in November when Diego Latorre released his concept art for the film. It looks like the legal battle that tied up the movie is over and the project will move forward. The press release that Coming Soon obtained from Relativity Media reads:

The lawsuit between Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company concerning THE CROW has been amicably settled out of court, and the parties will continue to work on the film together as planned. In addition, Relativity Media has dismissed all of its claims against The Weinstein Company for any wrongdoing regarding the release and distribution of NINE, and The Weinstein Company has dismissed all of its claims against Relativity Media.

Now there’s just one problem: no one’s attached to the movie anymore. Director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo left the project last year, and ditto Bradley Cooper. Cooper actually left one stalled project for another, hopping from The Crow to the halted Paradise Lost adaptation by Alex Proyas (director of the original version of The Crow).

So if this Crow reboot is going to happen, who would you want as director and who would you want to star?
