The Crow remake bags new director

Need some brooding 90s superhero-like goth stuff? The Crow, which, lets be honest, wasn’t that great movie, is being remade and now it has a brand new director. Replacing J. Javier Gutierrez, who originally replaced Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, will be Corin Hardy. Hardy is mostly a music video director, but he did direct The Hallow and evidently Edgar Wright recommended him for the job.

This projects been kicking around so long it’s hard to get excited for it anymore. Evidently Luke Evans is the lead, and it is supposedly going to start shooting in Spring so maybe it will actually happen now. It just doesn’t seem like something that is that exciting anymore.
