By Did you know that this year is the 25th anniversary of Labyrinth, and that next year is the 30th anniversary of The Dark Crystal? To make up for how old you’re feeling right about now, HDNet will be airing a double feature of the two films on Memorial Day at 8:00 PM. Even better, they’ll be aired in HD, so David Bowie’s bulge will be more prominent than ever.
I haven’t found that The Dark Crystal holds up terribly well, but Labyrinth just gets better with every viewing. What do you think? Do these films hold a special place in your heart?
