The Fantastic Four and X-Men are in the works for Marvel’s Phase 4

Marvel unloaded more movie news today at SDCC than is healthy. In fact they unloaded so much damn news that major headlines on any other day seemed like footnotes. That’s how Feige treated the fact that both the Fantastic Four and the X-Men will be joining the MCU in Phase 4. He just sort of said it and let everyone go crazy.

At the very end of the Hall H panel, Feige came out and apologized for “not having time” to talk about little things like “the mutants” and the Fantastic Four joining into the MCU. Of course, everyone knew this would be happening after Disney procured Fox but having it happen in the next “phase” of the MCU is insane. Feige also said they ran out of time to discuss Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2. Then that whole Blade thing happened

We’re living in some sort of crazy time when Marvel can leave the X-Men and Fantastic Four as tiny footnotes in their glorious movie empire.
