We’re nary a month and some change away from the final chapter of Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and in case you lived under a rock for the past year, Marvel wants to make sure you know Endgame is coming with a new trailer. Ordinarily, something like this would have been snapped up in our tips line as soon as it was sent, but this one actually languished around for a bit. My theory? Silent protest in anticipation that the Avengers are going to undo all of Thanos hard work, and I won’t be told otherwise.
For those of you who do watch it, you’ll get to see your first looks at Captain Marvel showing up to “save the day” alongside the conveniently unsnapped original Avengers lineup and the others who remain. Me? Well, Infinity War was spoiled for me and this is one of those rare occasions where I don’t know what’s going to happen in a comic book movie. So, I can wait a month to see the conclusion of what I consider to be one of the best comic book movies of all time, second only to The Dark Knight.
Avengers: Endgame will star a laundry list of actors including Brie Larson, Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner(!?), Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, and Sebastian Stan. Avengers: Endgame will release on April 26 and Thanos did nothing wrong.
