The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - TV Spot 8

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be out in two weeks, if you can believe it. And so the hype machine continues with a new TV spot and lots of other keen things.

First of all, if you’re attending a midnight 3D IMAX screening of The Hobbit at certain theaters, you’ll receive a set of four limited edition posters (while supplies last). The posters are inscribed with dwarven runes and depict etchings of Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo Baggins the Small, Thorin Oakenshield the Dreamy, and Gollum the Horribly Emaciated. For a list of participating theaters, go here.

Second, you can now listen to the entire Hobbit film score by Howard Shore. Shore previously composed the score for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and has also done lots of great music for most of David Cronenberg’s films. To stream The Hobbit‘s score, visit Rolling Stone here.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey arrives in theaters December 14th. The film’s score will be available December 11th. Check out all four IMAX posters in the gallery.
