The Hobbit’s first TV spot is way too short

Here’s the first TV spot for The Hobbit: The Undiscovered Country. It’s pretty short, but there’s a lot of tantalizing visual material (including one funny line), but it’s not as compelling as the first trailer was. You know what’s not short though? The film’s runtime.

In an interview with Empire, Peter Jackson told how long the final cut of The Hobbit: Nemesis actually is:

It’s looking like it’s going to be about ten minutes shorter than Fellowship was…So it’s going to be officially our shortest Middle-earth yet. I mean, Fellowship was just under three hours and this is about 2 hours 40 minutes at the moment.

So I guess watch the TV spot, go see The Hobbit: The Wrath of Khan, but make sure you use the facilities before you do. Maybe bring a pillow.
