We reported back in January that Tron 3 was nearing a greenlight from Disney after a fairly wonderful showing at the box office. Now, First Showing has a leaked Easter Egg from the upcoming Tron: Legacy Blu-Ray that offers a few hints as to the future of the franchise. We’ve heard of these before, as Bob Muir reported earlier, but now we have actual evidence that such scenes exist. The video above basically recaps the events of the original Tron and serves as a bridge for everything that came between Tron and Tron: Legacy. It ends very soon after the events of Legacy, though I don’t want to spoil that here. You animals can watch the video for that action.
We still haven’t seen the other two rumored scenes, which supposedly feature Olivia Wilde’s Quorra speaking to the press and an IM conversation between Cillian Murphy’s Ed Dillinger and his father, the human antaognist from Tron. With the Blu-Ray releasing in April, who knows if we’ll see the other two scenes before that?
