The Odd Life of Timothy Green looks charmingly depressing. The plot follows a married couple that is unable to have children, and as the clip above demonstrates, dream about their ideal child when suddenly, as the clip below the jump demonstrates, a little boy springs up out of their backyard garden.
I’m not sure how to categorize this film. Is it a children’s film? Can’t be because the overall theme of wanting and not having seems too depressing. Maybe it’s a family film since Timothy Green will “magically” affect the people around him who lack something.
I’m calling it right now. Either Timmy Green is some sort of plant messiah or a child scam artist who snuck his way into a lonely couple’s house.
