The Raid sequel takes place only two hours after original

How much silat can one man do in a day? If you’ve seen The Raid: Redemption (most needless subtitle ever) than you know that its hero basically fights constantly for at least half of a day. In the end though he fights everyone and they all die leaving him and his estranged brother in a semi-cliffhanger ending. You’d think he’d get a few weeks of rest after that.

Not so according to director Gareth Evans who tweeted that the film will pick up only two hours after the last movie ends. Hopefully the plot is a little deeper than our hero walking into the next building he comes across and getting trapped in that.

We probably won’t have to wait long to find out as Evans also revealed that they start filming on January 19 and if The Raid was any indication he shoots fast and furious.
