The Simpsons make parodies of Oscar nominated animations

Some may argue that The Simpsons have been stale for a few seasons now. But just like the milk I’m attempting to make a metaphor out of, sometimes it’s good even past its expiration date… it’s just that you’ll probably get a bad stomachache 99% of the time. When The Simpsons are on point, however, they make you appreciate their creativity, even for a short moment.

One such moment was in a recent episode, “Angry Dad: The Movie,” where Bart’s Angry Dad gets nominated for an award. Of course, this is the perfect excuse for The Simpsons to make parodies of other well-known animated films. The shorts (as well as the full episode) are below the cut. The shorts parodied include Toy Story, The Triplets of Belleville, Persepolis, and Wallace and Gromit.

Let us know what you think of the parodies and which other films you wished were animated!
